SIAC - KCAB INTERNATIONAL Seoul Webinar
"BTS, Squid Game, and Mobile Games: Arbitration and the Korean Wave"

I Event Desrciption

Korea is now firmly established as a pop culture powerhouse.  With the global success of Korean music, dramas, movies, and video games, Korea’s annual export of cultural goods exceeded USD 12 billion in 2019, a 20% increase from the prior year. Will this rise in Korean cultural exports lead to increased international disputes involving Korea’s pop phenomenon?

Join SIAC and KCAB INTERNATIONAL during the Seoul ADR Festival for a discussion of the use of international arbitration to resolve disputes arising out of the Korean Wave.  Entertainment disputes give rise to unique concerns, including confidentiality and flexibility. This webinar will explore the potential disputes that may arise and the benefits international arbitration can provide.
